Reddit ubiquiti - Ubiquiti are the kings of flashy software and sub-par hardware. APs use cheap Mediatek chipsets, their NVR used to use a fucking USB thumb drive for writing databases to, products that simply don't work as advertised, firmware updates that seem like they never went to QA, and let's not forget the GPL violations.

 
Ubiquiti is for people that have a lot of money to throw and looking for easier application, but ultimately they are getting locked into their eco-system, just like Apple does.
